Shamefully, I've just got a Morrisons one in the cupboard at the moment. Think the best one I've used so far was from a company called Neera ? Trouble down here is that there aren't many Asian greengrocers, we've got a big Chinese population so you can get loads of decent oriental food, but Asian spices etc are a ****ing rarity in Cornwall.
Not heard of Neera, heard of Heera tho. I’ll sort some out for you and you can check it out for yourself...bound to be better than Morrison’s own
Depends what you’re buying really. But most herbs and spices will just be herbs and spices even the supermarket own brand. But the quality and age of those spices won’t be up to the standard of a good brand.
Surely you must have a 'mate' that can get you all the genuine articles, supermarket own brands and can't get Asian in Cornwall don't really cut it bruv, especially you being all organic and vegetarian friendly, just saying like
Lol. Slurps gave me the headz up on that Rajah brand, so I've ordered some online. What I mean by not being able to get Asian spices in Cornwall is that there aren't many Asian greengrocers. You can get East End products in the cash & carry. But you know, unless you're in the restaurant trade, nobody wants to buy a 10kg sack of Basmati
