Investment in infrastructure doesn’t feature in FFP calculations. The current operating loss limit is £105m over 3 seasons. We’re already above that, albeit they’re doing **** all with FFP for the previous and current financial years for obvious reasons. I can easily see us challenging the entire FFP premise tbh. There isn't another buyer. Staveley/ Reubens and PIF want us irrespective of PL/ Championship status.
I do know that. As I said earlier, they are looking to invest in the club and area. That project exists irrespective of which division we are in. It is Newcastle United that the consortium wants. It is Tyne and Wear that they wish to invest in. The EFL will pass the takeover. There is **** all the PL can do. They cannot stop us being promoted with PIF as owners.
