yes indeed. city have an allocation of 1500 so the ticket office man said. looks like brighton are giving up the other half of that stand to there fans. this game maybe a complete sell out by game day.
That's pretty bloody good for a night match on the south coast, it seems quite a lot of us fancy a night out in Brighton.
yes it is a fan tastic turn out and maybe the fact its a new ground has helped. but ive had many nights out in brighton over the years when things were alot cheaper back in the day. am looking forward to a lack of traffic on the drive back to hull. will leave some beer in the fridge to chill for when i get back.
Good turn out from us, won't be able to make it due to uni but hope all those who do go enjoy the game and we get a good result.
Are you going TWF? It'd be nice to put a face to the username. We'd probably find out that you think the exact opposite to your postings. It's probably too much extra cash on student finances to do the trip though: which is a shame because you'd like the noise in the ground.
Apparently it is gonna be around the 1500 mark, got confused when the guy at Brighton said they'd had to send us more tickets, due to demand, gonna be another great day and a new ground ticked of the list
that's pretty impressive given the distance and the time of the match. making an early start to take advantage of the 2 hours extra pre-match warm up that B & HA have allocated us.
i am glad its a 5.30pm (more please) as it allows me to have a nice lay in bed and leave around 10am - ish. PERFECT. yes am really looking forward to the game as well as a new ground (but i do miss the old goldstone ground).
one of my worst away days at the Goldstone. long drive, pissing rain, lackluster Tigers lose 0-3 (and we were lucky to get 0).
i always took in a brighton game where possible when i went to eastbourne speedway but it was bleak in the cold winter months and the pitch was more akin to planting spuds than playing football.
not really but it goes with the job. tell me a ground these days where its not chaos for one reason or another. (donny the other week was a joke even after avoiding the motorway delays) i am expecting to be there by 3pm and am now thinking more along the lines of using the free voucher and the park and ride system. from whats been posted already the ground is almost like a No Go Zone. lol.
