Why not? He will lose the buyer and there won't be another coming in just because we've been relegated. The club value would plummet and Ashley won't sell unless it's over the odds. I think just like the last 2 times he'd sell the Star players and invest in getting us promoted... Then he doesn't lose 150 million
Faith is an unreliable pathway to truth. Essentially faith is the excuse people use for believing in things that they don't have sufficient evidence for.
I’m going to suggest that this Bein bollocks will come and go with no takeover. Then survival will come and go without one. Then pandemic. It’s all ****ing Ashley man, he’s cancer.
Well I'm fairly convinced we will go down if Fulham pick up a couple of wins over the next 3 games and it'll all be over.. The club will be finished
Unfortunately he can't stop us getting relegated. It's all going to end in the worst possible circumstances
We are going down to rise again like a Phoenix. Bruce was appointed to get us down into the Championship.
Prescient. It's felt like this for a long time. Boy does this city need a monied takeover of NUFC. The attraction of Saudi-Reuben involvement is potential investment above and beyond football.
Fingers crossed we stay up or the book will be closed on it. Come on Burnley and Sheff United this week
I'm not entirely convinced. I'd like to think that P.I.F has developed a remote attachment to this club (it's probably been 18 months of gestation). I'd also like to think there's an understanding between buyers and seller re price and division. My guess is IF P.I.F want to buy and invest in this particular football club then relegation wouldn't dissuade them. Total speculation on my part, of course.
good point. PIF are pushing their Vision 2030 so are looking very long term. A year in the championship may not be the end of the world in the wider scheme of things.
PIF want to invest in the club and area. That is a long term strategy. A year or two in the Championship won't phase them. They are after a long term project. Enter a manager who likes projects and has unfinished business with NUFC and who is currently refusing all offers from other clubs.
