oh no. Are they seriously giving that muck to the over 90s its well proven now to not work at all for people over 65 (well according to eu lol) and doesn't work at all for sure for the south african variety. I won't be taking that cheap muck I'll get a yank vaccine with the proper transponder chip.

Yes everyone who gets astra will be back in a queue for a new vaccine by September. They will only be finishing all adults and will need to start again as it's worse than useless for South Africa covid
we don't actually know that yet as the evidence for that is based on such low numbers . I'm just hoping our local centre is still being supplied with the Pfizer jab when the wife finally gets her appointment as we know that works well in a real world environment .
coivd won't care when you get it. apparently the south east variant and others in the US have seen a new variant emerge there too. Astra is already working on season 2 jab. Its proven utterly ineffective against thie south african strain so its a lottery to see if that has already spread enough to become dominant.
south africa are already returning it and stop using. I hope she gets Pfizer too the evidence in Israel now is tremendously encouraging (if we ignore their treatment of Palestinians) They are the only other country imo doing as well as we are with giving vaccines but the issue is are we giving the right one?
Israel roll out is because they and Pfizer struck a deal where Israel got early and large amounts of their vaccine and in exchange Israel have handed over all of their data regarding covid and the people they have vaccinated . In effect it is the worlds biggest drug trial .
