Yes but at least Scotland and its fans do not have delusions of grandeur.

I see the England rugby team is also coming home with its tails between its legs.

England should stick to what its good at, like morris dancing.

If Lithuania beat the Czechs (which they have done once already in group I) then Scotland are through to the play-offs.

    Yup.

And if they get there they will have the same chance of winning as England, ie **** all.

You just know that if Ireland qualify they'll be in the same group as England - and probably bloody beat us again <doh> On a side note I see that during the firework dispaly in the new stadium in Kiev at the weeknd part of the roof caught fire - that's a promising start........

England have the worst squad now I can ever actually remember and I'm 48. What really sucks is that 10 years ago it was the best since 1966-70. It's even worse than the shower we sent to the last World Cup and look what happened there.

Judging by Rooney's contribution to England's last two World Cup Finals competitions, a 90 kilogramme tub of lard would be a suitable replacement.

    That was my point earlier.
I honestly dont see the 'love in' with rooney. He has done **** all for england and englands chances.
and UTD won despite him last season not because of him
