It feels like last time under McClaren I have to say. I think of those games we can get something against Wolves, Brom, Brighton. If we can win all three we are safe, but we won't, so if we can win 2 at most we have done probably enough to avoid the bottom three. Fulham still only win like 1 game in 10.
Although there was gan unrest due to the circumstances surrounding his appointment I think he did very well personally. He had his issues but he got the best out that squad. Until Ashley threw him under the bus and then the fans got on his back and well he resigned. DPP is right the decline started towards the back end of Pardews reign but it wasn’t Pardews fault. It was Ashley’s. Then SM came in and made a right mess of the investment he was afforded. The similarities with that season under SM and this one under SB are very similar.
I hope so, but I feel like the loss of Wilson Manq and schar has sunk out ship. Brighton I think are a very good side and will finish way clear.. I think they'll take us apart and so will villa, but I give us a chance vs West Brom and an outside chance of a point at home to wolves.
You wont go down. Fulham and West Brom have won 5 games between them out a total of 47. You’ve been averaging around a point per game. Fulham could close the gap this week if they won tomorrow, but I doubt they’ll get a point, let alone 3. Even if they did pick up 3 they’re not suddenly going to become a 1.5 point per game side throughout the 15 games they’ve got left. So whilst it might end up looking a bit closer for short span, come the end of the season nowt will change. Bookmark this.
Well the problem I have is that we've had Wilson scoring goals and we won't have him for 2 months, so our average will most certainly fall unless someone can step up. I'm also aware Fulhams performances are improving and they've added one or 2 in January. I'm not concerned about West Brom, but I am about Fulham who've lost less games than us. I've seen them lose and draw games they should've won, but by contrast I've see us win games we didn't deserve anything from. I'm not saying with absolute certainty we will go down, but I feel ruling it out is short sighted personally
You might have a clearer view of things looking in from the outside. However, from the inside it is hard to see past the fact we have taken 8 points from our last 12 games. That's 0.67 points per game. We have zero confidence and key players injured. If that form continues then Fulham won't need to become a 1.5 point per game team. If they can achieve an average of 1.0 points per game that may be enough. I hope I'm wrong and that you're right, but that is hope and not confidence
It isn't all bad though. There is good news and bad news....... The good news for us is that Fulham don't get to play Everton again. The bad news for us is that we don't get to play Everton again either!
That is shocking. Just looked at the form table for the last 8 games. Liverpool (17th) are one place ahead of us (18th)
Calling Pellegrini a ****ing old **** was pretty funny I agree, but headbutting a player and shoving the ref was just embarrassing. We got one decent season from Pardew, then a whole load of horseshit, and his record since shows the good season was an obvious fluke.
Need more context. Who will be the owner? If it is Ashley, then we could do a lot worse than the best performing manager under his stewardship in Pardew. The only guy to deliver European football in the last 14 years. Best football played. Best players we've watched. All on a shoestring. If it is someone with money wanting to do things properly, then it needs to be Marcelo Gallardo.
You'll need to tell Mr Ancelotti not to show the players the form table. If they think they are playing a team in the bottom four they will probably lose!!
Me and Pouchie always agreed on this one. I don't do the theoretical if we're bought crap, I mean right now with Ashley possibly staying. Its a no brainer lol.
