Should we bring Pardew back?

Dogleash was on another level even to Bruce.

Dogleash dismantled KKs team out of spite whereas Bruce is down to incompetence.

The landscape was changing while Bobby was here, Chelsea came in and we could never compete. In efforts to compete we nearly bankrupted the club, its not really disputed that Ashley financially saved NUFC.

Our decline and current position is complex, its not just the owner is a ****.

I think NUFC is a club in crisis on every level, board room to stands, while they under spend, we are toxic. We don't give people a fair shake, we expect more every time.

Its regularly called one of the hardest jobs in the league... and I don't think they mean just the owners when they say that.

How do we fix that? Its impossible imo. Even if the new owners come in, in 6 months some of our faithful will be demanding Allegri is sacked.

@Darren Peacock's Ponytail on toxic fans, you will note DPP that NUFC fans have a toxic relationship with youth players. We want them out before they've had enough games. You've commented on it before.

 

Yes they'll soon forget where we've been for 2 decades now... They'll start causing trouble like they did when they got Bobby Robson sacked for finishing 5th

Nufc fans deny that, but we all know its true.. Taxi drivers the lot were giving me grief when I was ranting about them wanting him out. Reports are still available that include Bobby not blaming them, but I do.. Bobby unlike Bruce and others was too proud a man to say "the fans cost me my job"

I've been banging on about the fans and young players for many a year now. It's ridiculous.

I'm certain that is why certain young players were never given the chances.

But then our loan system is **** as well. Take James Tavenier. Sent on loan for a few seasons. Was lauded by all clubs. What do we do? We sell him.

Fraser Forster gets given one game, plays not great and so we sell him.

Ivan Toney was brought in as youth but then discarded for no reason at all.

Dan Barlaaser. Loaned out. Lauded by all. Comes back to NUFC. Sell him

 

We've had crap managers that never had the balls to give young players a run of games because they know of it fails they'll lose their job.. They're too afraid and too selfish to do it

 

You mean like playing Sammy Ameobi and being called the worst manager we have ever had

 

The problem with that was he was picking him ahead of our best player, but I was actually going to say pardew did have the balls to play the youth.. I think Dummett was another I can't recall..

KK had them playing lads, Viduka, Owen and Martins scored a lot under KK. Cant be that hard fellas.

 

Shearer is boring and it's one of the reasons he was so good at scoring goals, but unfortunately anyone brought in with 8 games left is only going to be able to give the dressing room a lift most importantly and I would imagine listening to him would send you to sleep..

 

Just looked at our fixtures and we've got a run of games in April that includes liverpool, arsenal, man City and Leicester.

If we don't get one or two wins before then we're going down

 

We have Brom and Villa soon and I think we need to win both

Problem is, the Villa players hate Bruce, so like to batter him.

 

I feel like it'll be clear within 4 weeks who's going down

We have man united, wolves, west brom, Brighton and villa before those 4 games vs Liverpool, City, Leicester and arsenal.

I'd much rather have Fulhams and West Broms games that's for sure.

I honestly think we're going down
