Hello fellow Salopian i welcome intelligent dialogue I'm too old for **** stirring i just tell it as it is. Whether you go up and down is your business obviously hopefully we will meet you in the league one day! Up the Bucks!
the shrews do not fluff, bottle or mess things. at present they have a problem with their clocks. 45 mins + 45 mins + added time. normally sums up a match. i think when the clocks go back on the 29/10. the shrews will be a properly honed bunch of players with built in cyber chips to direct them from their launch pad of 4th in the league to to 10 points clear by may. no the shrews do not fluff. following town may be crawley, wombles, gill, millers, vale and possibly crewe. the gas pilot light which has been flickering for weeks will have been extinguished and in 21st place they may be planning a trip to lourdes, in search of saint matty h, patron saint of crap pitches and crap management
1. bristol rovers 2. bristol rovers 3. bristol rovers 4. bristol rovers 5. bristol rovers 6. bristol rovers 7. bristol rovers i completely agree with chris, and concur that the gas are THAT good they will take up all seven top league spaces in league 2 in january, and all of the top 10 spaces by may
hahahahahaahaaaaaa yes you certainly are taking the BSP by storm this season, welcome to not 606, and congratulations on being the first telford fan ever with an internet connection, and furthermore, the first telford fan in history able to read and write!
good news is the gas are lowering their sights, from walking the league as champions, sights had settled on 3rd place or indeed a play off place. sadly the telescope was at the wrong end and on turning the big end of the telescope to their eyes, hereford plymouth and barnet hove into view. i understand their view finder has now settled on mansfield and forest green. shilling for the gas anyone
Still very early days yet. This league is unpredictable, Rotherham then now Southend, who next. We have come unstuck recently due to injuries which have hampered us in recent games. We won't be the only ones who suffer an injury list come christmas, especially when you have a smaller squad to choose from thats when it gets more difficult to stay near the top. The way Buckle is going at present he will be looking for a new position soon if Bristol Rovers don't pick up.
Very true curtis. We only have 7 defenders in the squad and 4 have been injured recently. There'll be lots of movement in and out of the leading group between now and May and plenty of sides will get found out when their teams are weakened by injuries.
i did not include oxon and southend in the top 7 as they may both be in false positions. time will tell. certainly mr therm is at a very low ebb in bristol. helium can be explosive, let us hope paul buckle does not do anything silly, or might he just do that. tin helmets at the ready gasheads!
i find your comment very amusing considering you live in WEM i can always tell you are at the Greenhouse meadow because there is a horse and cart outside the ground. I can only assume you are using a ZX81 with a dongle to keep in touch with the outside world!. i wont hold it against you and welcome.
...sorry Atcham.....helium is an inert gas....not explosive. .....but inert sounds just right for the gas...not going anywhere or doing anything. We use it for detecting leaks; may be some use in Britains 7th largest city that has two teams...one football and one rugby!!!
may i suggest methane gas, probably homegrown by chrisgashead, considering some of his comments. " the gas are going to walk the league". "the gas are just coming into form" after their win at morecambe. since then their coming into form has been methane bombed at oxford and home to cheltenham. i suspect the millers will hit the gas with something mighty ert! this friday, thanks meta shrew for the correction.
Hey I heard we are running out of helium as it is just to light weight so we'd better be careful with what we've got! I have seen on BBC News 24 a video piece on using a spectrum to link to the net!!
hi matster, at least the shrews balloon has taken off,but there was nearly a crash landing on saturday. i never had a spectrum or commodore. we bought our son a bbc micro in 1982. a great little machine
"gas are just coming into form, top 3 by xmas" so if the gas are just coming into form is 17th place a jumping off point or are they going lower still? i assume gas celebrate christmas on 25th april when a man in a blue coat and beard comes down the chimney.
which of course reminds me of a seasonal yuletide joke. why does father christmas not have any children, because he only comes once a year and that is down the chimney! i suspect if the gas start practising the 12 days of christmas, they may be word perfect by 25.4.12, and a partridge in a -------------------------------
Just had an image of how the Gas are going to propel themselves up the league ... One of the Gasheads' rugby posts could be used as giant catapult to send Paul Buckle flying to where he wants to be.

My own prediction of: Morecambe Shrewsbury Crawley Town Rotherham Southend Gillingham Oxford Utd Was slightly out, with only 4 out of the 7 still in there. How did you get on? Some though were slightly more confident than others back in October!
thanks for the re run matster, as for the gas, ooh me sides, i quite like mr buckle!. swindon have certainly emerged from the shadows
