    the sun today says rooney going be dropped to the bench for the whole of euro 12 .This has got me thinking who is going replace him for euro 12 any of these and who would you choose?

    Why would Rooney be benched for Euro 12 ?
    I know he's a pikey thug and represents everything that's bad about society, but he also happens to be our only real match winner...

    we're fvcked anyway.
    Tournament no' 46 that we enter with unrelenting hope amidst a tide of national support, only for us to draw 0-0 with a pile of ****e, scrape through to the knockout stages and get dicked by any half decent team.
    Capello gone, pub rows up and down the country as the players disappear for their Summer break then return to the safe houses of their clubs and their £200k weekly cheques....

    I admire your honesty and totally agree with you.

    The other problem is that the world class foreigners make the English players appear better than they actually are.

    It will actually be nice to have the team playingin a tournament where the media and half the country doesn't think we have a prayer. Then again, by the time it comes round again the scribes will have forgotten all the dismal performances of the last 50 years and crown us as champions beofre a bloody ball's been kicked - again.......

    Every ****ing media outlet including the independent and objective BBC will be going OTT about everything. SKY will be doing their helicopter following the England team bus to the airpost no doubt.

    the only ones that makes england favorites or close favorites are the morons on sky sports. every real journalist worth their salt (mostly foreign ones) dont give them a sniff

    My own view (CT) on this is that the english FA know that england wont amount to much, so they rush back players like becks and rooney, play the likes of gerrard and lampard together (even though your mum will explain that they dont work together) simply to get all the PR money

    Money in bank = success for the FA and players = **** the fans
