It will only be important in our history if we end up going down but then plenty of other games this season could then be given the same billing. If we go down it won’t be because Fulham won at Everton.

Everton could have gone 5th with a game in hand and within touch of third so the evidence available to us was that they should win at home v Fulham despite their recent improvement.

Probably the most important game in our existence in my opinion. As opposed to conjecture this game actually did decide the future.
Fair enough but today was a big day for the direction. Let’s see if Bruce can stimulate the lads to get a result tomorrow. For the record I have no beef. I just think today is pivotal to our survival.
Speculation and not fact. Eg “could be” If we lost that Leicester game we would have gone down to the Third Division for the first time in our history. Fulham win tonight and we are still 7 points clear of third bottom on equal games with 45 points still to play for. As 1961 said there are a lot of twists and turns in this season yet.
