On at 19:30 and it's called 'Who Owns Leeds United?' and will be on Sky channel 976 for those based outside God's Own County. There's also going to be a BBC Leeds discussion on the matter the same night - can't remember the time or details exactly but I'm sure I read it on NewsNow somewhere. Hopefully even if there are no major revelations, this will raise some publicity for the plight of our club under this moron.
Its also on BBC1 North at 7-30 Monday night. I doubt if it will throw any more light onto who does what and why ?? Hopefully some very rich guy will take pity on us and buy the clown out !
Why do idiots keep saying this? Leeds have only gone bust and into receivership once and we did that when Bates owned us, we came out of it with a points deduction and that "unknown company" buying us ONLY if Bates remained chairman and when there were BETTER money offers on the table. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/mattslater/2011/05/meet_the_new_boss_same_as_the.html Good old Ken Bates really good for Leeds Utd, honesty and protecting the clubs name, what would we do without him Good old Ken what would we do without you preventing I mean taking us into receivership and giving us such an honest trustworthy name in the football league
No 976 cos I’m in Yorkshire FFS…I can be so dense. So everyone else outside Yorkshire gets Fake Britain…we get Inside Out – Who Owns Leeds United on sky channel 101.
Pags, its probably because its a regional thing. On sky it will be simply 101 for you I would have thought
Who was in the frame to buy us when it came to deadline hour then Ristac? What has happened since is irrelevant, we would not have had a club for these things to happen to if Bates hadn`t seen a good deal and took us on. As far as I know we had hours to go until the plug was finally pulled and no-one else wanted to touch us with a bargepole. I`m happy to stand corrected though if someone can provide facts that another group had the cash on the table ready to go.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0161mrg Bucks, yeah I worked that out i have to say i was confused. but obviously being Leeds, I would have the Yorkshire version anyway. stupidity on my part. and my mothers really.
The Premiership. What a stupid question anyway - fans don't have to stay loyal to a chairman even if they do falsely believe that he saved their club. If things have gone to **** - and let's face it, it's been nearly seven years since he came to Leeds and little progress has been made - we have every right to want the old **** out, especially when he fritters our money away on stupid and pointless schemes and publicly disgraces himself by insulting fans of this club.
