A 3 way tie between Alonso for that late charge towards the end, Red Bull for having the sense to keep Vettel from going for glory and risking getting taken out, and Button for providing another answer to the surprisingly large wave of criticism that gets thrown at him each weekend.

Champagne moment? - For me, having now seen the BBC's red-button coverage, there is one 'moment' that stands out head and shoulders above all others for the whole season. Indeed, it was one of the most touching things I have seen in motor racing for many many years. During one of the several interviews Vettel gave to anyone who grabbed him (not least our own Eddie Jordan), there was a beautiful moment, totally unmatched this season, not just at this event. To Sebastian Vettel, the BBC played their own edit of past 'back-to-back' World Champs (as shown to audiences in the UK); and when the camera came back to Vettel, it was clear that he was genuinely humbled by such a comparison with so many past 'greats'. He was genuinely emotional and kept thanking the BBC team. And that my friends, was a true 'Champagne moment'…
