It has nothing to do with pessimism it's just a reasonable thing to do.. I could just as easy flip that and say people ruling out Fulham to beat Burnley and Sheff United are being ignorant to the possibilities which I my friend am not.
Mildly yes but I personally think it's between us Fulham and West brom.. We're one of the ****test clubs in the league and the league table isn't lieing right now
I wouldn't rule Sheffield United out of it either. They could easily overtake the other 2. West Brom will probably beat Utd today mind.
No one is being ignorant to the possibilities but you are voicing the gloomy side. The way things go at this time of the season anything could happen in any game. There will be good days and bad, no point in looking at 3 games ahead. They still have to make up ten points. Be confident, we are as usual as unpredictable as anyone and could just as easily win at Chelsea but lose another so called easy home game.
Averages tend to work out, unless you have a manager who is dedicated to late season points (Rafa). Most clubs are just trying to get by game to game so I'd imagine Fulham will end up with around 32 points at best. 36 will be comfortably enough to survive this season and we have enough depth to just about get that kind of tally.
If you take big sam's 100% record at avoiding relegation into consideration 36 points will not be enough. 40 points required.

Many of you and nufc fans took the piss out of Jones and now you're saying he'll keep us up and sucking his plumbs .. Yet the irrational Mr doom and gloom(Chaos) here saw the improvement coming.. ( one or two others also) I'm simply seeing a vital week ahead and I'm holding a rational position that Fulham could pick up 4 to 6 points this week and hold a superior goal difference, but I'm also aware if they don't were laughing.
