everything points to today....Sunday form,on the back of a solid win and the bloke is actually knocking about the town...haway the lads.
I still think they must be waiting for the final piece of paperwork from the idiots at the EFL. Yesterday was the perfect opportunity, big home win, potential owner in the ground, main north east sky man in attendance and they didn’t announce it. I don’t think they would miss that opportunity without just waiting on that final green light. Clearly they have been told last week it’s ok with KLD being at both matches and being very visible but not quite 100% over the line.
He was giving the thumbs up when someone shouted if it was done yesterday ... ... bloody frustrating isn't it.
It doesn’t change anything in the slightest with the transfer window being shut but it would be nice to hear his plans for the club and actually hear what he sounds like. There is no problem and it’s all so so positive. Just would like to hear the breakdown of the deal and some of his plans.
aye. This is where the whole “it’s done” thing becomes ambiguous. Because “it’s done” could mean either they’ve agreed the sale, or they’ve had verbal confirmation, or they’ve had written confirmation, or pretty much anything depending on the context of the question KLD thought he was being asked. We’ve had people saying “it’s done” for months. This is absolutely not a dig at them - “it’s done” means different things depending on the interpretation. I’m 100% confident “it’s done” in that KLD has agreed to buy the club, Donald has agreed to sell it; and that the EFL have indicated that all the information they’ve got is enough to approve the takeover. But I’m still unsure whether “it’s done” in that KLD is legally our registered owner yet. Whilst yesterday would have been a good day to announce it, any bloody day would. Frankly yesterday was the first day in a long time that Sunderland supporters didn’t need a lift
Louis-Dreyfus isn't the type to embarrass himself by shaking hands with people on the pitch, and doing a thumbs up, if it wasn't done. I have no doubts whatsoever.
