This gonna sound stupid but I've got a really random memory from a Leicester match. Was when we was in championship before relegation to L1 and it was end of season game with nothing on it for either side. Unusually, I wasn't in main singing section so was sat down, and halfway through second half some bald bloke of about 50 stood up and shouted at top of his voice: 'LEICESTER, LEICESTER, THE ****ING CHILD MOLESTERS!!" Tragic and childish as **** but was hilarious at the time.
He will be here a while imho. Two main reasons... 1. Levy will put himself under huge pressure if he sacks him cos ultimately he chose him. He is the 10th manager he has employed. Only Martin Jol, Redknapp and Pochettino improved us...the other 6 were all car crashes. 2. Money. Most clubs are suffering cos of covid so I suspect the cost of sacking and then replacing him is prohibitive.
Not story mate but fact I consider you about evens anyway mate. When I came to KP you gave me a sound parking spot but then wanted me to walk 2 miles in a storm for a beer... Though I was definitely grateful for the quick escape from Leicester after et and losing on pens, so wouldn't change which way round the advice came
Born in Blackley in 1930 but moved to Leicester as a young boy ... mother's family were United ... might have mentioned before but one of her brothers was in the same apprentice side as Bobby Charlton and Duncan Edwards ... still have cousins in Accrington (his daughters) ...
All I know is that when we get to go to games again, I won't be paying £50-60 to watch us. For the three of us it'll cost a minimum of £150 plus £30 travel plus £30 on food and drink. That's a **** load to be bored shirtless. I get it for the occasional game but not week in week out ffs
