    1:40 Exeter - orbys legend

Inspection in the morning but anyway.

Came second in a strong bumper at Newbury, then backed to win next time out over course and distance. Knuckled down really well to hold on pulling well clear of the third. Soft ground also looks ideal.
4/1. Had a decent bet on.

    Morning all,

Two things that stuck out at me at my local track here at Exeter was, Paul Nicholls only has two runners of which I really do like SOUTHFIELD HARVEST 4.10 @ 7/2 and that Brian Hughes has come all the way down here for 1 ride on Snow Leopardess which is now a NR.

Over at Southwell to see how the day goes I've done the first 3 races, STRAIGHTOUTTACOMPTON 15/8, DUKE OF FIRENZE 11/1 and MUKHA MAGIC 6/5.

Mike Murphy still in very good form just now, since 24th January he's had 13 runners - 8 wins and 4 placed, for a small stable thats amazing numbers. He has 2 out at Southwell today...

    3:20 - Aria Rose
    4:50 - Owhatanight

Going for the double which is paying around 11/2, in hope he can continue his good form.

Another inspection at 11 and already lots of non runners. Think I will be holding any bets until we get the go ahead and see how the first race goes.

    good luck all!

If it does go ahead qualification from that Pertemps Qualifier is now a lot easier with 4, I say 4, non-runners in the heat at the time of writing.

I think we can all now wave a tearful farewell, incidentally troops, to the old 'Beast from the East'. Rising temperatures mean the old rotter is now very much in the retreat.

Anyone heard of this Surebet? Theoretically, you cannot lose. Basically it is betting on all outcomes of a football match using 6-8 bookmakers offering different odds. Rather than google Surebets and get offered a service at cost there is some free info here
    https://www.oddsportal.com/professional-sure-bets/

    Looks interesting to me

You can probably find at least one opportunity a week to arb yourself half a point, provided you get all your calculations right and get all your bets on before the odds shift against you. Good way to get accounts closed if it goes well, or even if it doesn’t, but while you’re getting away with it you might make a guaranteed (only nothing is) 0.5% on turnover.

As you can guess, I’m a cynic, sorry.

Not a bad day today, literally gone through the card at Southwell, only MM letting me down although I had it between him and the winner.

Cheers, both won very easily too so was never really a worry. Thats now 10 winners from 15 runners in the last 3 weeks for Mike Murphy, great run he's on just now.

Well done on your winners today too <ok>
