Well that was ****ing rank. Stupid ****ing Chinese people having a new year.

 

Badly cooked Chinese food is the ****ing pits.

At its best I love it, but I’ve had some ****ing absolute shockers.

 

It’s a rarity to find a good Chinese tbh.

most of it is just greasy noodles with a **** ton of msg

 

Got some of this off my mate today.

Will make some jerk chicken sometime over the weekend and post up pics.

 

The Jewish swear by their chicken soup and knadels (so?) I tried it once when I first got with the Mrs and it’s just rotten, but of all the Jewish delicacies it’s still one of the most appealing.

I once bit into a fish ball thinking it was some sort of meaty treat like a Scotch Egg sort of thing, but nah, pure tuna, cold, awful.

Nobody can touch their bagels though, with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Next level.

 

Crispy lotus root stuffed with port or soup dumplings. If I could find somewhere that did that.
Shame Chinese food in U.K. is a bastardised version of dishes from China.

 

Tuna bites are bad. Don’t let yourself be mugged off with tuna bites. Proper gefilte fish balls are like seeing a Hezbollah tunnel collapse on those digging it.

Lots of Eastern European Jewish food looks grim, much like actual Eastern European food now, but is great if done properly but I’ve had some terrible chicken soups. Kneidlach is elite if the person cooking it isn’t terrible but it will never look good.

And yeah bagels for Sunday lunch. Get some fish balls and rollmops on the side of the salmon and cream cheese. Bit of chopped liver, egg and onion and a couple of Mrs Elswood pickles on a challah roll during the 4pm game.

 

Yeah I’ve had all that **** before bro, you guys can keep it. Don’t mind a handful of those luminous yellow croutons but the soup can gtf, with the fish.

 

Was going to invite you to my Purim party but not now.

 

Going to do a beef curry and a pork chilli today.

 

Dunno what I'm having food wise but the mrs is out all day so I might treat myself to a nice lunch.

Go get some nice ingredients I mean, can't be eating more takeaway.

Perhaps a meaty salad of some kind

 

At work so had a McShit breakfast, double sausage and egg with a cheesy flat bread on the side.

Got more slow cook chicken broth for dinner, if I stay that long.

Just managed to bin Virgin, sign up to BT, try to get away from Virgin only to be pulled back in by a few sweeteners.

So, spent and hour of my life on to call centre folk only to stay put.

Doubled broadband speed, got all the movie channels added and knocked £30 a month off so not too bad an hours 'work'. Will go through the whole process again in 18 months when this deal expires.

4 eggs
Half can a beanz

salt/peppa

Slow cooked beef.

let it catch on bottom and get bits off every hour in three hour cook. Kids of carrot, onion and bay for flavour.



Going in a giant yourkshire from supermarket.
