One or two have conflicted feelings about Charlton winning at the moment. They feel the sooner Bowyer goes the better for the Club. And Charlton winning games does not advance that agenda. I felt the same way (as I'm sure other fans did) about Roland, especially back in 2016. The sooner he went, the better. But any win we got under his yes-men made that prospect seem more distant. I hated feeling conflicted in that way to be honest, and now I am hugely relieved to have no conflicted feelings at all about Charlton winning. For me personally that is Thomas Sandgaard's greatest gift. Until the current situation is resolved one way or another (LB sacked or promotion & longer term success) this conflict will not go away. But it needn't spoil match-days for those of us who don't share it.
It is very strange how things work with the 'tolerants'. Powell, a success, hate him. Dushitelet, a c***, love him. Bowyer, a success with Charlton in his blood, hate him. Very strange, but amusing in a big way. It's what has meant being banned about ten times. They don't like it up 'em
I forgot Murray as well. Murray has undone EVERYTHING he did for Charlton by publically supporting the Belgians. This CANNOT be argued. Without making yourself look silly.
He and @The Punter’s Pal suggested otherwise. TPP suggested you read ITTV every day and Ivor said that you resigned ...
Barnsley away '94? we lost 4-0 comfortably, and Barnserley were on their way to promotion. I had a very nice exchange of opinion with a fan of 40 years plus after the game on the train back to London. My new chum's view was that he wanted Charlton to win EVERY game. Absolutely fair play. My view was that I'd want Charlton to lose if it f***** over the spanners or palice. To this day we call each other 'Barnsley'! We have a drink and a laugh, we're all Charlton.
I have never seem Royston and Reams in the same room at the same time ??? Is it a coincidence that Reams lives in Wrexham and so is unable to attend many home games?
Keane is an animal. The only word to describe him after the Haaland assault. I do like him in an interview though.
Sadly, it is becoming clearer now that ITTV is shifting towards becoming an Anti-Sandgaard forum. This beggars belief, but it is true. The man who saved Charlton Athletic apparently isn't good enough anymore, after only four months. Sandgaard's twitter posts are now being ridiculed.
Very sad to see. For attitude and commitment we could not have done better than Thomas Sandgaard. OK, so he isn't a multi-gazillionaire like Sheikh Mansur. But he has thrown himself into CAFC and so obviously wants the best for it. He saved our Club. Literally. But because he won't stab his manager in the back to appease a handful of frustrated fans, he's not worthy of respect on that forum anymore.
Three different members have expressed various forms of dissatisfaction with Sandgaard. These expressions aren't very much in themselves, but they indicate a shift in sentiment. Every time the team loses from here on in, I would expect the dissatisfaction to grow. The regard our new owner is held in on that forum increasingly seems dependent on how much he behaves as some fans there expect he should, rather than on everything TS has done to save and rebuild the Club after it almost went to the wall.
Ahaha incredible - well if Charlton Life supports Sandgaard then they have to hate him, that's just how it works.
