A truly awful safety first, selection from LJ we will look better at the end of this game than at the beginning imo,, but this team selection is a handicap to progress.

Burge made a few errors and the notion built up into him losing us game after game ...

... he's good enough for this league imo, please just leave him there and let the defence get themselves organised.

Sometimes it's too easy to blame keepers.

I’m with you mate. Jones looks a cut above everyone else I’ve seen at this level tbh. I’m thinking that we’ve just watched a team look terrified of their shadow and LJ wants some solidity. Although fadz and McLaughlin are parts I’d like to see improved upon!!
    Time will tell I suppose!!

I thought he was harshly judged in the last game he played, 1st goal when he palmed it back out you've no idea how much that ball moved or how much of it he could see as we didn't have the camera angles to judge properly. It didn't look good but he did his main job and the defence just stood and watched.

It's definitely a change by the looks of it as I can't see Scowen, Power or O'Nien playing as a striker as O'Brien has been (could be wrong mind)

Hope you're wrong Clocky. Too many defenders?

There are more than enough goals in that team.

Gooch, McGeady, O'Nien need to keep Doncaster worrying that shots will be fired in ....

... those three should know L1 keepers aren't the greatest and a good shot is a good shot whichever league you're in.

Even Power when in midfield chips in with the odd one, not massively often but he is capable

The focus can't always be on Wyke, he's not good enough to do it all himself and doesn't unsettle the defence.

What does confuse L1 defenders is people passing around them on the edge of the box and inside.

At least we win free kicks and penalties that way.
