Hornets v Robins. Muñoz´s not so recent merry men host the Robins at Vicarage Road in the hope to stay in the chase of the top two. He wants to see more from his Watford players as after a string of good enough results at the start of his reign, cracks have started to apprear in performances. Watford´s last three results have been 0-0 Milwall, 1-2 QPR followed by the no-changes to a promised changed team 0-0 debacle at Coventry. City have lost their last three to Derby, Brentford & Cardiff and sit in 10th compared to Watford´s 5th. This isn´t a clash of in-form teams here, although City have to play in the F.A Cup against Sheffield Utd on Wed. I think we are within a very slim shout of automatic spots now and maybe more likely the play offs. Let's see how the team can respond to their lastest mini-points slump after the new manager defibrillator bounce now appears to have well and truly worn off. However, there are still 18 games to go and 54 points to play for! Team news to follow but expect the usual players to be out: ¡COYH COYH COYH! COMMENTS WELCOME ENJOY THE GAME
Thanks Mex. Enjoy the game seems unlikely these days. I haven't enjoyed much of what I have seen this season. Surely we will get it right at some stage.
Way it's going be 0-1 Bristol City with Mariappa scoring! Another club where fans expect more and whose team aren't play the football they want to.
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19079140.don-goodman-claims-watford-not-giving-all/ Worrying words from a decent pundit.
The club should just bite the bullet and pay off Gray and tell him never to set foot in our club again Also tell Sarr if he continues to provide recent performances he will be loaned to a league two team or a national league team Success could do what those two do, miss goals and fall over in or near the penalty area
FA CUP & Bristol City have a man sent off. Does that mean he´ll miss Saturday´s game? RED CARD - Alfie Mawson Sheffield United 0-0 Bristol City - Penatly. And it's a red as well for Alfie Mawson. Not sure if Mr. Mawson is a regular for them though. According to google: "In the past, yellow cards picked up in the Premier League, football leagues, FA Cup or Carabao Cup would be added up together. ... However, the changes this season will see yellow cards only counting in the competition they are received. Red cards will continue to count across all competitions."
The Hornets are confident Kiko Femenía will be available for Saturday’s Bristol City home fixture, with a final assessment to be made on the full-back’s readiness tomorrow (Friday) following his two-game absence. Having signed last month, midfielder Dan Gosling has trained all of this week with the squad and is available for selection.
Independant of football, I´d put Xisco at B1 on the CEFR. That might be higher than his coaching ability / badges! Regarding the content, how can he deny that the late subs didn´t make a difference against Coventry? He speaks a lot of mumblejargen at it´s footballing best. Ivic was dull as f#$k but at least he spoke a bit of sense, which never materialsed on the pitch mind!
Someone has more confidence than us - pundit David Prutton predicts a Watford win. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/d...rediction-that-watford-fans-will-surely-love/
David Prutton is supposed to be Sky's Championship expert. I have not kept a careful count, but I think that he may have predicted 5 correct results for Watford (and even less correct scores) out of 28 games this season. Therefore, most Watford supporters worry when he predicts a Watford win.
please log in to view this image Bloody freezing tonight so we prepped today. Should be a nice fast surface for the game tomorrow
They don't seem very confident themselves! https://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/210936-watford-a-sat-13th-feb-1500-matchday-thread/
Well if we don't look to attack with this team we never will. Interesting to see Hughes, Pedro and Kiko in. Certainly boost our attacking options.
I wonder what Zinckernagel has to do to get a start? What odds on us finishing the game with a front three of Perica, Deeney & Gray?
