If we employ that tactic, our match threads will be dead as no one will want to post first

 

I don't think I've ever posted first, ive always avoided it as some sort of jinx, god I'm panicking now that we will win 7 nil and ill be under pressure to perform every week.

Defence needs to be the heros of a win, so that they can get some confidence back

Henderson was everywhere v leicester.
Roberto's had some intent early on but where was he when it mattered.
Wijnaldum nothing.
Firmino and salah at least tried.
Mane was pitiful all game.

Klopps first job is to get a spine in this team. Not easy from here.

 

Grinding out a 1-0 doesn't suit this squad, we have no defence. Better going back a few years; take the shackles off and try to outscore everyone

That's what we've been trying to do. Doesn't work, teams just go defensive and hit us on the break.

No we haven't, we've hardly created chances. We've been extremely cautious for weeks

can i just point out being Solid aint all it is cracked up to be

 

We're not creating chances because the oppositions are stopping us. Counter attacking tactics by other teams have stiffled our attacks, rather than us being cautious.
When we get forward our players are often surrounded and crowded out, it makes us pass back and pass sideways, try aimless crosses into the box etc. Its not cautious its lacking ideas. I mean if having TAA and Robo on the edge of the opposition box is cautious then I'd be interested in seeing what attacking is.

I'd like us for one game to try and not have so much posession, let the opposition come to us and then slam it forward fast.

 

Being more defensive will result in lots of 0-0 results, that's no good to us, we need wins.

We're not attacking like we did before. We keep holding the ball up, showing the play down, etc. We hesitate on counter attacks all the time. We piss about paying around the back in dying minutes when we need a goal. None of those suggests we're going for the jugular!
