You did well to last that long mate and there is nothing wrong with hope. I don’t think it’s dead for what it’s worth I just don’t think there is a happy as hell ending. Fact is arbitration is ongoing (for what that’s worth to us) and rumour is Ashley definitely wants out. The problem is he wants more than it’s currently worth.
lets just say I'm not going to get pushed around they have bit off more than they can chew and it is going to cost them big money
Yeah, except it doesn’t. This would be the longest takeover in history by a magnitude of months, and also the quietest. Facts just don’t add up:
I have to say there was clearly something wrong early on when around 4 weeks passed the red flags were being ignored and I've somehow ignored every single one. In the early days nothing was an issue?! Human rights? Nah don't matter Piracy? Nah not an issue PIF walking away? No problem they'll come back arbitration? Ah easy win for the club. I think it's clear the Premier league hold the strongest position or certainly have a strong chance of winning whatever that battle is.
Basically there's something I think I was too quick to rule out along with many others and it's that the Saudis wouldn't pass the test, so they got caught out being sly and the premier league dig it's heels in.
Isn’t that the opposite of what happens though? I’d say likeliest is that we’ll hear nowt until it’s done, whoever it is.
Depending on tomorrow's game. Rafa could be in the dugout for Napoli Europa League match on Thursday.
The first the man city one was heard of was two weeks befoer it happened. In fact most you don't hear anything about until it's 99% done. I don't recall any noise when MA took over at NUFC
