The season will be over before Stewart is up and running Should of bought some one ready and bursting to play Especially after getting rid of the two strikers
Said he wanted the new signings to hit the ground running, well this one has slipped and hit the ground quite hard apparently, I wonder when he will actually be seen on the pitch He was injured when he came to us.
Yes to buy a striker 'oven ready' (mistake not to ).. he he No to getting rid of the no-g-strike force. As it imho it helps the squad, others say 09 or even Sanderson ( he seems to do everything else well) could at a pinch play up front or even the young uns'.
Hearing about Willis being out for 6 months + made me think of that Kosovan lad we signed last August. I can't remember his name - was it Albi Xhemini or something ? Someone nicknamed him Scrabble Man. ( apologies - not meaning to be disrespectful ! ) Anyway does anyone know how he is doing and when he might be back?
See a lot of this and disagree with it totally. Manager has had possibly the most difficult time of any who has taken over at SAFC over the last 5 or 6 years. Long periods of training missed, big injury issues (which he has never referenced or used as an excuse) and the COVD (same) and he's been left with 2 godawful keepers. We didn't sign one - but we also don't know that we didn't try to sign one (there's plenty on here who seem to say they do but, in reality, we and they don't know) If we sack a manager who has good ideals and speaks well after each game and bring in another dinosaur, where would that leave us? I want him here next season regardless of where we are. He's had a very tough time here and I think he'll do well given the time.
Xhemajli! Forgot about him completely!! And he was just starting to look the part when he got injured.
Not sure what LJ was thinking in signing him tbh. The more I learn about him, the more I’m starting to think he’s clueless.
I thought he got injured in training without making an appearance? Was it still pre-season when he got injured?
I hear people saying give LJ a chance, and putting what if scenarios up i don't see anyone saying sack him but i do see people questioning him, and his judgement after his statements, now here is a scenario of what if he loses the next 6 games what then. We as supporters have had enough of bullshit to last us a lift time , and no I'm not saying sack him, but we are not stupid either and know when the bullshit starts happening we can smell it a mile off. he has already had a window he has had matches and training if a blind mind and his dog can see our goalkeepers are ****e and needed replacing surely he should have acted, as at the moment its those tossers that are costing us matches. And like supporters i don't think KLD will take kindly to us loosing to many matches before he pulls the trigger, he wants to be a winner not an also ran, i bet his mentality is give me wins or i will get people who can
Absolutely spot on there mate imo. If he doesn’t get us up this season then he’s got to go for me. Hopefully KLD has links abroad and we can follow a Leeds type model.
as KLD watched the match and i take it he is no slouch regarding footy it wouldn't surprise me if he has already said right i want a goalie and dipped in his pocket for an out of contract, cos if he doesn't i would bet he is giving him enough rope to hang himself. The team as a whole is not too bad we we are in dire needs of a goal scorer and a goalie does anyone disagree with that statement, With the about turn on the wage freeze the world is our oyster and our young boss will have a point to prove to his parents
watched Leeds last three games love their attacking style they are a joy to watch and a lot of home grown academy talents and skilful buys that have double in price Leeds were stuck in the Championship years get the right manager and a boss who financially backs them and now they could have a chance of European footy in the first season back now that's a class set up and one i hope we model on.
