What I find ironic is that some of our posters are incapable of comprehending the fact that some of us have conservative opinions with regards to social, cultural and religious issues, but fairly liberal (even quasi-socialist) thoughts on economic matters. Thinking it a bad thing that there's a mass influx of countless millions, to a densely-populated country with insufficient infrastructure to support them, does not mean a person necessarily opposes some form of jobseekers' allowance or universal healthcare, and nor does it mean that one has a personal hatred or xenophobia towards the countries or ethnicities from which migrants originate. Also, Detesting the Labour Party does not make one a Conservative Party donor.

It's also very strange to read comments from people whose only defence of immigration is that people 'work hard and pay taxes'. Is the word 'England' defined solely by the Inland Revenue? Are the states of the world merely slightly-different tax offices, affording different names like 'Englishman' to the people who happen to pay into their pot on any given day? No normal person thinks like this, and that applies to the bulk of the world's people. It is a world-view unique to Western and Northern Europe and the United States.

 

It will be zero because Westminster will piss it all up against the wall like they have done with Trillions of barrels over the last 50 years.
