I was on a call with a chap in Seattle today who showed me a walk through on their US Amazon site.
Whilst looking through the site, on the home page actually they have a button in the top right hand corner which said 'Buy From Black Sellers'.

It's clearly an option for any black people (or white) to choose only to buy from blacks.

Now... if it were the other way around there would be uproar I guess not to mention legal implications (certainly on these shores) so is it something you, or the average American sees as acceptable to have a button to exclude some sellers based on race?

I literally couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Wonder if there’ll ever come a day where footballers take the knee to “White Lives Matter” .. I wonder.

It’s because he’s been seen drinking with a Mackem, Chippy. At least I go in disguise. I pretend to be this overweight, balding, elderly man as opposed to the film double for Chris Pratt that I really am....:bandit:

Black people are often very racist, its our guilty conscience that allows it to persist.

I don't think as a society we learn from history at all, we just get dictated too by it.

I said 2.5 days each then
They said whoa there boy, black guy needs 5 days, we need 1 each
Best thing was the black guy was definitely not the thickest

America is one of the most xenophobic and racist nations on earth. Nothing surprises me.

Inequality, discrimination, racism, homophobia are rife. Some parts of the US are backward and worse than third world countries.

    Is that a genuine question?
Not a chance nor should there be. I can only speak for myself as an abled bodied, heterosexual, white male but I've NEVER felt like I've been held down because of the aformentioned traits.
We can criticize the black lives matter, bend the knee movement but when Marcus Rashford is still getting racially abused then we, unfortunately, have a long way to go yet.

In answer to the OP, yes that is racist.

Should just be “all lives matter” all as important as each other.

100% agree. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Think of "Black lives matter" as "Black lives matter equally", nobody is saying that other lives don't matter.
In an ideal world, we (people in general, not you and I) aren't having this conversation as all lives do matter/are treated equally. One day.

This for me. I don't take it as anyone saying that "only black lives matter." Unfortunately there are still plenty of instances where some people do need reminding that black lives do matter. It isn't anywhere near as bad in this country as it is in the States, but even here we do have a way to go to get rid of the minority that think it is ok to abuse people based on the colour of their skin. We should get pissed off at footballers taking the knee, but that anger should be aimed at the people still persisting in behaviours that were wrong 100 years ago, never mind now. It's disgusting that it's still an issue.

I don't agree with things like the buttons mentioned in the OP, but I can understand why they happen.
