Real Madrid are playing Getafe. Whenever I see anyone playing Getafe, my head always sings “23 positions in a one night stand”...

    ...but that’s probably just me.

I went to see Madrid v Getafe for my 40th ... the wife came to Madrid with me (not the game). I remember some tapas but not 23 positions

I went many years ago for a week in February. What was noticeable was diurnal range of temperature at that time of year from below zero at 7am to around 20 in the middle of the afternoon and wandering around Parc de Retiro. Stayed in a hostel in the Plaza Mayor! Took in Atletico v Espanol and had a tour of Real's stadium.

Vokins not started well at Sunderland. 2 games in and the fans have decided he is shocking. Haven't watched either game but guess that is why Ralph was happy to let him go

Don’t forget cerdo magra con tomate, with plenty of crusty bread to soak up one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. The one tapa we always order.
Actually, my wife tends to eat most of the sauce, whilst I eat the pork.

I'm slightly perturbed that nobody is getting this reference, and therefore believes I might be making a thoroughly unlikely and unrealistic boast. Sadly not, it was with reference to this (and yes, I do realise the Spanish town is pronounced slightly differently, but this goes through my head whenever I see their name) -

That's pathetic defending from Brighton, for basically the last kick of the game.

To fall asleep at the corner is bad enough. But to then let the one Leicester player in the penalty box get a free header, when about seven defenders are in there too...
