WE NEED A NEW KEEPER Am absolutely sick of saying this, over and over again, it is a key position, for the manager not to see this is a huge mistake on his part
Why all of a sudden its lots of changes being made , has LJ given up on promotion , the frightening thing is he doesn’t seem to realise most of the time he is weakening the team . Too many players continually letting the side down but have we seen any worse decision than Matthews replacing Burge who isn’t brilliant but is miles ahead of Matthews in any case why? Tonight we have probably blown a play off place that was their for the taking I am livid !
Aye we’ve had some excellent ones. We seem to be making up for it these past few seasons (except fir big Jon of course!!)
what owners where the frig are they ? what the hell is happening the job should have been done and some decent players signed mainly a goalkeeper they had no right to sell Mcgloughlin, we are back to the other two clowns 3 years ago, why do they take so long to get the ball in the box as well twist turn twist turn get the frigger in. Shrewsbury know how to defend we do not rebuilding job now in the summer now needed i expected this at half time, we are crass at the back and that is the worry, no matter how bad the other teams are around us we will be as bad as them, they do not want 6th place this manager he is signing worse players than Parky ! he has to go as well and get Pearson in, he will give them a rocket if they play like that.
Think we’ll be ok once O’Nien’s shoulder is fully healed...... Let’s be honest, he couldn’t do any worse
Of course they are, there is absolutely nothing to be positive about other than the impending takeover. The club is an utter shambles and I’m fed up to the back teeth of it.
I agree mate, unfortunately, atm he seems to be able to talk some talk but is far from walking the walk. Bristol City fans did warn us... I've not checked, but I'd bet our form table since LJ arriving isn't as good as the dinosaurs before him and that's a sorry state of affairs.
Probably trying to keep things fresh with the amount of games and also still trying to find his best team
Can anyone tell me what Grant and Scowen were doing so well throughout that game that warranted either staying on the pitch? What with Power and Vokins taken off plus Matthews has surely seen his last start for us, it feels like we need another transfer window!
“Instead”????? So it was “we can either get Winchester or a keeper” was it? Glad we have someone in the know on here!!
Well he must have had a budget given to him, and thought that it was worthy of using some of that budget on a player we didn’t need, over a position that everyone could see needed improving. So in a roundabout way, yes he did choose him over keeper.
Well unfortunately we can’t get one now so we’ll have to persevere with the best of the 3, the one with all the clean sheets.
Sunderland could do a lot worse than take on Danny Collins in a coaching role. EVERY game the man speaks sense and knows exactly what the problem is, clearly a clued up bloke and loves the club.
I try to be postive and focus on the upside so will do so again - Sanderson. Nowt else though - sorry! I actually thought we were poor first half. Our passing was absolutely dire. The simple 10 yard passes were not going to the man. Second half was worse, much worse. We are so easy to get at it is scary. Balls into the box and we panic. We are unable to control any possession. Our decision making is poor. The amount of stupid free kicks we give away when it isnt needed - I wonder what is going through their heads when giving them away as it always invites pressure. Where are the leaders? They stand looking at each other with their arms out when it goes wrong. I found the whole thing really hard to watch. LJ gets time for me though. We have to at some point let a coach build their squad. There is probably limited coaching time too with all the games and recovery time. He gets patience from me, but some of these players need to question themselves. I will dust myself down tomorrow and start looking forward again...
