The mere fact that both of the sending offs involving Mike Dean recently have been rescinded must put into question his suitability to officiate in the PL. I think that the death threats against him are disgusting though.

Missing the funeral of a loved family member has happened to many myself included. Not just the funeral but being able to spend some quality time before they died. Of course no one deserves it, we don't deserve the pandemic and the suffering it's bought worldwide. Essential travel only until vaccines are proven to halt transmission are available worldwide and an effective test, trace and isolate program is in place internationally.
I thought that most of the vaccines out weren't expected to halt transmission, so you could be waiting a long time for that.
Sadly, my 82 Year Old lifetime Saints fan sister Doreen passed away peacefully today at 13:10, she was cuddling her Sammy Saint soft toy at the time.
Living that now. We think my cousin has a very short time left. They’ve sent him home from hospital and are “making him comfortable.” He’s a year older than me (his birthday is in a couple of weeks). Can’t see him and won’t be able to go to a funeral if it’s as quick as we think it may be. He now can’t send his own text messages. In a kind of fitting way, it may turn out the last exchange we have is over the game last Tuesday. I hope not of course, but I’m a realist.
So sorry to hear that Don, thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Let’s hope as OROW says, the boys send Doreen off in style tomorrow. RIP
