Tbh I got a bit fed up with the Major Tom thing. I wouldn't actually say that I celebrated his demise but at least it's got it out of the way. It was a media construct., they love it's the " Hero pilot steered crashing plane away from nursery school" type of headline. Nothing against the old fella but the war hero thing was a bit of a stretch. He taught gunnery in a classroom. He was a teacher, nothing more, nothing less. His big mistake was visiting Cliffy. Well at least it was Covid not aids.
