The Sky commentary team after the game really laboured on about the “Elite” clubs watching Raphinha

On a slightly more serious note, apparently Orta is under investigation from the fraud squad.

    £17m for Raphinha?

On a serious note the whole lot at Sky should be investigated by the fraud squad for pinching money, shower of cnuts.

    Great performance and result.

Just imagine if we had a quality left back and a serious upgrade in the Klich role <yikes>

Rodrigo is good but we need one more to cover all bases.

Is it too soon to be dreaming of a Top 4 challenge next season ?

So Pablo yet again injured and I hate to say this but anyone else think we were silly giving him a 2 year contract extension, as he has hardly played since we did it. Yes he has been a fantastic servant but the contract is only serving himself right now.

The bench tonight was a bunch of 18yo kids and Roberts the senior guy followed by Shaks and then Davies. We are relying on our kids due to injuries, so thank god we are just about safe. As soon as its confirmed I hope these kids start to get minutes as we will be replacing at least 4 of the first team squad this Summer, and these kids could save the club a shed load. Rodrigo De Paul or similar is a must as we need someone who can be better than Pablo at his best and Kalvin as De Paul can play either role. Romaine Perraude at LB would be awesome if it comes off but Greenwood Gelhardt and Huggins can get a chance to show if they’re ready

Must be honest - I was very disappointed that none of the kids got some game time. Even if it was only the last 2 minutes, it would give them that special moment when they crossed the white line.

Confession time - has anyone else looked at the league table 20 times+ tonight? Hands up here. Magic! <magic>

Trd a piece where it stated how good Villa are this season and that they managed to avoid relegation last time on goal difference with 32 points. We are already on 32 points and only a few points behind Liverpool in 4th :emoticon-0165-muscl

Agreed, I know it would be nice taking to the field with a huge crowd to welcome them but yesterday with 5 minutes to go would have been an ideal no pressure nothing expected of you introduction

We are averaging 1.5 points per game and that would give us 55 points for the season. Last season 55 points would finish 9th

I know that was tongue in cheek but it could be very telling again this summer. The kid is clearly fantastic and there will be interest. In summer 2019 we had the same situation with Phillips but we fought and kept him but sold Clarke (who?). We’ll soon see how ambitious Radz & Co are if the really big conkers start getting offered.

I have nothing but admiration for what Radz has done since taking over but wouldn’t it be such a typical Leeds thing to do to unearth a real gem and then sell him?

I reckon Bielsa will insist Raphinha stays. He's gradually adding quality and will leave if any of his additions are sold from under him.

Lose Raphinha, lose Bielsa - that's why it won't happen. At any price.

I think Bielsa will stay another year, to keep him they’d have to hold on to Raphinha no matter what offer came in. The minor problem will be turning down an £80m offer would mean a huge pay rise for him. Major problem would be his agent and his own head being turned, if he asks to leave we’re screwed

I counted at least 4 wayward passes from Philips and at times he plays like he's in Jamaica listening to bob marley and on the waccy baccy.
