no mate it will spill into March. I think they are tweaking some of the edges of the deal (sponsorship/ads etc).
Schar and Manqy are replaceable to a suitable degree. Yes Wilson is injured but in current formation and high press Gayle will be an okish replacement.
No news on the Marseille front. Not sure where AVB stands since he offered his resignation. They held initial talks with Rafa, he said he wasn't interested. There was then rumours that they offered him a good deal. He's still their no. 1 target. As I said before, Rafa has verbally agreed to takeover Napoli in the Summer as a Manager with Technical Director powers which is unheard of in Europe, it means he will have full control over transfers, with the remit that he is to develop and train a young Italian backroom capable of taking over from him when his contract runs out, similar to what he has done at Dalian, if you think the old Liverpool Way of doing things. Napoli have given Gatusso 2 games to turn things around, if he can't do so, they will offer Rafa the chance to take over earlier than he agreed. Word is Rafa is still waiting on a Premier League job and if one is available, that is his preferred outcome. Strangely I've heard rumours of Bournemouth wanting Rafa, but I'm not sure how that's developing.
He says with absolute certainty having spoke with all sides of the deal that PIF are still very much at the table to buy newcastle united. It's as we've been saying on here though...... He seems to suggest the premier league are likley to win arbitration though, but he believes a settlement will be made before arbitration. It's in the balance, but PIF want to buy nufc.
