Not true, he'll be a big loss, he's been excellent over the past two months. The difference in our first half and second half performances after he went off injured against Everton is testimony to that.

One thing's for sure, we won't be threatening to picket Goodison Park or cry endlessly about an injury like some of you lot

I was eager to get rid tbh. But he's been playing well and more importantly seems to have built a very good partnership/link up play with Fernandes which is really the reason I want him to stay.

There was no interest anyway. I was expecting him to be off last summer. Not a single offer came in for him. Not even Skysports could come up with a bullshit rumour
