Great post RTB , If only the team could set up a game to match your threads, we would be top of the league in no time. <ok>
Use the squad correctly and their is still time imo OaU .

I'd like to see something like below. For me it's time to phase Power and Leadbitter out of the first team. Sanderson brings pace, height power (no pun intended) and can actually defend.

It looks like LJ wants to play a high pressing game so we needs legs and energy in the centre. I think having Leadbitter in a two is the reason weve been struggling. I'd have Gooch sat infront of the pivot to link the play and to drop I to a 3 when needed. Jones and Mcgeady the creative spark and let's hope Charlie boy keeps it up.

    --------------------Burge :-/----------------
    Sanderson--Willis--Wright--Vokins
    -----------------Onien---Scowen----‐-----
    -Jones----‐-----Gooch--‐---Mcgeady
    ----------------------Wyke---------------------

I think there's a high possibility that this will be called off due to a frozen pitch temperature in Shrewsbury won't get higher than 0 degrees from now till ko and will drop to -4

Don’t particularly fancy us, still pissed off after that the other day. It’s a game we really need to go and win like, Hull play Lincoln and Peterborough play Ipswich so points are gonna be dropped up there. We need all 3, no excuses.

That midfield 4 looks rapid. A lot of mobility in there. I think Goochy would be quite useful alongside Big Chas.

That team would be pretty close to my first choice mate, and if we want to win football matches, 17 of those with Hume when he returns would give us the best chance of doing so, but I can't see Power being out of the 18 unfortunately.

Excellent thread again RTB. Loads to ponder.

I like that team but think it would suit O'Brien more than Wyke.

Didn't dare leave the Goat out, but I agree, he would be more suited, and AoB would be a better outlet, to bring on if we are ahead, he would get more scoring chances with his pace, giving Wyke a rest and at the same time a direct comparison could be made between them at no cost. Just my opinion, not any reflection on AoB., along with the four subs the other night I rate him as LJ's best move so far..

What I keep seeing is O'Brien pressing a central defender or keeper but Wyke isn't joining in so there's always an out.

O'Brien with Gooch would put real pressure on defenders, like MK Dons, who were strolling around far too often.

And with Diamond, O'Nien, Scowen and Jones supporting I think we could get their heads spinning.

LJ will be learnng every game. At some point he is going to realise go with the bairns who show no fear, have pace and a modicum of talent. The experienced players can come on to close the game out when we are 3-0 up.
Wyke, O9 & Wright to score.

Exactly the team I'd pick. As you say, we need as much energy in the team as we can.

If Sanderson doesn't get a start, bollocks to Johnson quite frankly.
