Had a skirmish with prostate cancer back in 2015. Had radiotherapy and a barrage of scans that revealed ..not much. They did say that I had " significant wear" at the base of my spine. I currently walk about 10km every day and it seems a lot better, all I have is a bit of pain at bedtime and first thing. The upside us my weight has dropped about 7kg. Best of luck with your treatment.

 

Not boasting in the slightest. I worked hard for it and spending on health is important, unlike buying a 535" TV and bragging about it on here sonny.

Glad to hear you're ok. I know what you mean, I don't drive and I used to walk absolutely everywhere and quickly but I'm ****ed with the lower spine issues and sciatica all down me legs!! As you say wear and tear basically.

Had a steroid injection in the nerves in the lower spine which was fantastic for a couple of months but it's worn off the last 2/3 weeks and am now getting an operation if I can afford it that is

Don't know why I'm bothering though as Captain Vegan thinks I only have a couple of year left at best

I really don't understand people that have a hang up about getting older.
