I've seen those claims, and also the ones about the so called wealth gap, but if you look back over history, the gap was almost always far greater between the rich and poor than it is now, at least in the west.

If these ****s are planning a century ahead, why is nothing built to last these days? Westminster Abbey is about 800 years old and will probably last another 1000. The Shard will be lucky to last 75 years. Where's the long term planning there?
