Honestly thought he’d be decent for us but he’s nothing more than a lower league clogger. not seen him do a positive thing since he’s signed. why does Bacon face persist?
Maybe not a twat. Maybe he was thinking that no matter how **** he plays Bruce will still have him in the side so he took it in to his own hands
I thought he started well yesterday and played well the game before that to be honest. He suited that pressing style better than sitting waiting to be spanked. Absolutely horrific decision making yesterday though, especially once booked. Could have cost us vital points. I'd sell Joelinton asap. Just bite the bullet. He is cack and will never be good. I can't see how we will dispose of him now. Terrible, I've wanted to be patient but he is the worst PL signing in history.
Christ he really is, isn’t he? I often like your ability to see balance in things, but there cannot be anyone left who thinks Joelinton is anything but a monumental **** up. The one time the fat asshole finally opens the cheque book and we waste the ****ing lot on this utter con of a footballer. What could we have got with that money?
To be honest more than ever, I'm starting to think there must be some dodgy Ashley backhander going on here. There is no way Steve Nickson thought he was a 40m footballer. Absolutely not.
Not only is Joelinton a **** footballer but, giving the size of him, he is also a wimp of an athlete. No physical presence.
Joelinton is effectively if used correctly, more often than not he's been very good in the no10 role being the striker. It's just he can't score for ****, so he's dire as loan striker. Hendrick is a ****in waste of space though, we're better off playing with 10 players.
What are you watching mate. I have seen Joelinton have one mildly effective game wide left. I've preached patience but at some point you have to accept. He is ****ing gash. Like really really ****e. He's dire as a striker, dire as a wide forward, dire as a footballer. If you take formations, confidence etc, strip it all out and look at the raw materials its depressing. His touch is not even Sunday league. Deadly serious, 90% of Sunday and junior footballers have a better touch than him. Its scary how bad he is. You'd struggle to persuade someone to pay 5m for him. They'd only do so on rep. Hendrick is ten times the footballer which kind of says it all! Like if you look at them with a football, he is literally many many leagues better than Joelinton. If Jeff Hendrick is many leagues better than you, has an infinitely better touch, I think you should be ashamed to claim football is your profession.
Pretty much this. Joelinton genuinely looks like he's won a competition, but even then like he didn't really want to win the 'experience' and was only in it for the cash and the years supply of Pepsi Max. I thought there were glimmers pre-Xmas when he was involved in a couple of things, but the bloke's failed to make an impact even against Newport or Brentford. Position or not, there needs to be something there that makes you think "oh, right, so he's got it in his locker". It's more like he's decided to stop playing basketball and see if he can make in Pro Soccer. Christ, Mark Wright of TOWIE is better. I mean ACTUALLY better. He's in there with Xisco and Viana. And he cost £40m. I've tried digging into it - there must be some link between his agency and Sports Direct, somehow. The closest I can find is Christian Rapp, who is Joelinton's agent, is also the managing director of ROGON Brazil. The idea that we're trying to hoover up Brazilian talent doesn't wash, because of our work permit issues. No, I think it's probs something more to do with Sports Direct heading into Latin America, or some such.
Don't mention Viana in the same boat as them two man. Viana was a very very talented boy. He was silky smooth. He just didn't fulfill his initial potential which was that of the best in Europe. Whether that was because he was poorly managed here I doubt it but we weren't a good fit. Certainly we bought a number 10, and then proceeded to not play with one, asking him to be the next Gary Speed instead. Say it quietly because any harsh reality around Bobby is frowned upon, but Bobby really didn't make the best of him and didn't seem to know how to use him. We played 4411 and that was that. The 1 behind the striker had to be mobile a la Bellamy. I liked Viana and its not like he was a failure when he went. He had injury issues, but he had good spells at Sporting, Valencia and Braga. Still won 29 caps too. Xisco was a **** hawk. So is Joe.
I wouldn’t let Joelinton wash my car even. He’s miss half of the surface area and end up throwing more muck on it than he takes off.
