Well. It kind like a telescopic thing, goes in small and widens as they push the rest down, so it's kinda just that initial bit when it goes in that some may find uncomfortable, but them taking snips of the insides of ya ain't all that a nice experience tbh, not that it hurts at all just feel like your being pinched from the inside, weird.

Deffo wouldn't recommend like

 

Only joking I had one a few years when I was diagnosed as coeliac, I had two nurses holding me down and I managed to relax, they took a biopsy as well and now I have to be gluten free

 

I had a overly touchy gay nurse telling me I was doing so well to make it less uncomfortable
