Backed by GFH banking.....now if i empty the grandkids piggy banks, stop buying the daily paper and the wife's weekly flowers I would be able to match what those potless sheikhs could muster.... should it not have been posted on the jokes thread, certainly a contender for the best so far...
U23s are away at the Riverside this afternoon, be interesting to see who is there and who gets 45minutes, so we can make some guesses about our bench tomoz
For the most part injured and I think he was really poor for us when he played. I say sell him as soon as posible
Looks like crowds will be back at ER in the morning. Well done Leeds https://www.leedsunited.com/news/co...oad-hosts-state-of-the-art-vaccination-centre
Pascal Struijk is more or less an established CB for the first team now. Roberto Martinez sees him as part of his plans for the Belgium National side. He himself says he prefers playing left side CB which is great for us as these are hard to find, and lets be fair we need someone who can replace Cooper at some stage. So do we all agree that Pascal has actually made the jump from U23s to first team now?
Just seen the priority order- 1) season ticket holders 2) bar staff/programme sellers 3) members 4) stewards Fans will return after the top 2 groups have been vaccinated. Sounds promising, but feel a bit uneasy about Kalvin administering the jabs. Wouldn't mind seeing Dallas having a go.
I'd go as far as to say that Struijk has been our best centre half this season (maybe behind Ayling who is a RB). Koch made plenty of errors and cost us loads of goals but looked promising. Llorente hasn't played. Cooper looks OK but PL might be too big a step up. He is playing very well but doesn't look comfortable. Phillips can do OK at CB but he really is a CM. Struijk has come in, settled down, played RCB, LCB and DCM and always looked calm and calculated in his decision making. Sure he has made the odd mistake but gradually he is learning and hopefully they can be kept at a minimum. I would say the CB partnership should be Struijk and one of the others.
Bamford and Harrison have been subbed. They kept missing. Thing is that they brought Roberts and Costa in but they don't look like they are trying.
Under 23s won 2-4 away at Boro with the damage done in the first half being 0-4 up at half time. Drameh, Casey, Kenneh, Caprille, Summerville, Gelhardt and Greenwood all had great games with Joffy scoring twice. Joffy replaced at half time so expecting him on the bench for the first team. We had a mainly U18 team out in the second half with Casey at 20yo being the oldest and most experienced against a very big Boro with players like Fletcher and Spence in their side. Greenwood missed a second half penalty. Miles away at the top of this league now
FB is becoming flooded with Liverpool and Raphinha links. This one isn’t going away and I hope it doesn’t become the number one story over the summer. I’m already losing confidence of being able to keep hold of him.
