    Easy easy easy.
    You were far far better.
That idiot commentating on Robins TV is a keeper, say no more, he's effin embarrassing and Lansbury should have been sent off.
You won't have an easier fixture this season. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Cheers Clingo, it's not really being noble - just honest.
It's not a good time right now but we all have problems.

    'Tomorrow's a good day'.

Looks like both City’s battling it out for mid table honours or will one or either be putting in a late sprint for top 6 or bottom 3<yikes>

Who is the new boy we've signed?
    Mick kept that quiet.
Curtis Weston with the first goal.<laugh>

Although far more disciplined and organised since McCarthy arrived, I'm not sure just how good we were yesterday, or just how bad you were.

We had two horrendous performances against Coventry away and Swansea home - we were as bad as you were yesterday but Mick has steadied the ship.

Some felt at the time that the Board would stick with Harris and see the season out. That would have been a grave mistake because the whole first team management/coaching set up was failing and we were heading in a downward trajectory - I see a similar situation for you lot across there.

This echoes the point made since 5pm yesterday on many sites; personally I’d have to say it was more the latter. Bristol were as bad as we were at Wycombe to add to the 2 obvious examples you cite.

Credit though to MM and the players as City are a more organised unit but still so passive as a creative team, especially in midfield, and lack pace on the break.

Your game plan, to the unitiated, looks very similar to Warnock's.
Land of the giants, with a few decent footballers and in the main making the most of long throws and set pieces. There's nothing wrong at all with that approach, play to the strengths of your team. Sorry if I have over simplified or maybe wrong altogether.
Anyway at least you have a game plan, we are devoid of anything resembling a plan of any kind.
We're heading south no doubt whereas I see more hope with your boys, that's not top 6, but a lot more comfortable last 3 months of the season than us.
Holden inherited a poor squad and has pitiful backing from our board.
He was the cheap option and handed a poisoned chalice, however as time goes on he and our new ex England coaches look like they are just not up to providing any progress at all.

    Cheers RP.

Don't think it was a typical Warnock type plan in that McCarthy has recognised our strengths/weaknesses and not stuck to dogma. Warnock would have done it his way regardless, whereas Mick is doing it more in an "our way" fashion insofar as the squad allows him.

Our wide options are limited as is our midfield. Mick has recognised that and played with 3 CB's at the back allowing the width to come from playing Bennett and Ng as wingbacks. This removes the need for typical front line wide men allowing him to play Wilson and Ojo as dual No.10's behind and to the left and right flanking Moore.

The midfield two of Ralls and Vaulks mopped up your attempts to break out. Bringing Pack on for Wilson for the last quarter to play in front of our back 3 was a masterstroke in that it took Wilson out of the firing line and killed you dead as an attacking force - not that you showed much before that.

Tactically spot on and in full recognition of our limitations and strengths such as they are.
