Okay a lot of us spend a lot of time thinking about Utd but in reality football is not important. Most of you might know that there has been a revolution in Tunisia and Egypt. Today some amazing news has happened for the Egyptian people.

The news is great because Egypt has taken its biggest step towards freedom. 30 years of rule ends. Hosni Mubarak Resigns after his long reign of dictatorship and I wish their people very good times. Their president seemed adamant that he would not leave office but he finally has after weeks of millions of people demonstrating and sadly people losing their lives during the process. It just puts into perspective how important freedom is and how lucky we are. I think its important as a nation that we make sure we never lose this freedom because we take it for granted. People are willing to die for what we have.

Of course its good news for them but bad news for the west. But their people deserve better than poverty and oppression with the wealth they could have.

Yeah now they can have poverty and disorder after the elections. Egypt has no natural resources like other Arab nations and relies on tourism and US aid. Watch them both dry up if extremists get into power.

egypt have been selling gas to isrealis on the cheap for years so i assume that will stop. also if their **** of an ex president is tried and convicted i'm sure they might get back some of the $80Billion dollars he has blagged on the country.

This is one of the only times I will agree with Batmanu. Egypt have huge gas supplies Constrcrepe, so I don't know what you are talking about.
