I want to give a mention to Purrington, don’t think he put a foot wrong. Always looked positive.

OK Rochdale weren't much good, but we can only play who's in front of us.
Pity we didn't put some more goals away to improve our GD, but that's a small cloud in a big blue sky.

he’s really stepped up recently

 

Purrington plays better with a winger in front of him, he's too exposed when we play a diamond. Happy with that win and a clean sheet!

 

No worries about mentality and team spirit for my money, definitely grounds for optimism.
