Wilson should have been sent off for his stamp:emoticon-0121-angry The ref is appalling, falling for every con trick Cardiff are pulling.

Absolutely lacking in any passion in defence, no cohesion in midfield, yet again no service for the strikers, who have spent more time on their arses than on their feet.

The ref is being conned right left and centre by diving and play acting, which served it's purpose by 2 silly bookings.

And guess what? 1 shot on target, against a 2nd string keeper, pathetic beyond belief.

We are being suckered and beaten up all over the pitch, weak, slow, predictable and non creative.

    Same old same old.

I have to ask exactly what have our new super coaches achieved?

We do not look like a well coached team at all.

Correct, we can control it, we can’t pass it. We have gone backwards big-time this season, too many players seem to have regressed

I’m done with watching the utter dross DH is serving up, I turned off at 70 mins as I couldn’t take anymore. It will be the last penny I spend watching this team, this season! DH is a nice guy, but so out of his depth, and being let down by too many players who should be better. I can’t stomach watching this anymore.
Even in LJ’s record losing run, I wasn’t this low, as the team played well, and were unlucky in a number of those games, but this is dire! Players cannot control a ball, cannot pass a ball, won’t shoot, and try and walk the ball, can’t defend, look at both goals today, and 2 of the 3 against Brentford...

It's yet another shameful performance to add to a litany of shameful performances over the past 3 years.

Both full backs not up to it and never were, the decision not to bring in a left back is beyond belief, Mawson poor today, Lansbury looked like an unfit Palmer, Semenyo was poor, Diedhiou and Wells had zero service but were poor, Massengo normal service resumed poor, Williams did ok. If we have to look to a player as weak as Paterson to turn our season around then we are f*****.

I'm sorry Dean you and your coaches are making it up as you go along and it is utter utter crap, crap team selection and even worse substitutions, you talk about quality in our squad, exactly where is that FFS? I see no quality, I still see no leaders and not for the first team I see no heart, I understand playing Williams but playing Lansbury as well was a wing and a prayer, the substitutions beggared belief.

I have seen enough, yes we were well beaten but FFS go down fighting, that was gutless.

Please if Dean if you manage to find a positive out of that **** then you need committing, it was shameful.

The alarm bells are ringing and I think we are quite shocking in most, if not all, departments of the game. Our ever building injury list doesn't help but a team prepared and willing to fight against adversity should be capable of overcoming those setbacks but sadly we can't or won't. The overall atmosphere in the dressing room must be at rock bottom and I'm sorry to say that Dean and his coaches are not able to stop this rot, and if you add the obvious problems in the physio department then you have a potential nightmare on your hands. This abject rejection of reality is starting to wear thin and although I would have liked to see some action in the recent transfer window I knew in my mind we would pass up the chance because that is what we do over and over again.

The shortcomings are there for all to see but unfortunately the chance of us improving with a dejected and possibly fed up bunch of players is limited to say the least and until those from our top brass watching the same dross can make the right decisions we will continue to slide. Piss up and brewery come to mind.<doh>

8 defeats in 11 games, that is absolute crap and Holden will be the fall guy, someone needs to grab hold of Ashton and do the necessary, notice he has disappeared under his rock again.

I am starting to believe that the almighty Ashton is our biggest issue when it comes down to the nitty gritty. Does Steve Lansdown defer all footballing decisions to him or is he just a pawn in the overall scheme of things and if that is the case then the blame starts with him. Someone at Ashton Gate is steering the club in totally the wrong direction by hiring the wrong people and grabbing players who are probably beyond their best before date and expecting a rise to the top. Shrewdness and ability is required to run our club without interference from the suits, and perhaps the employment of both Lee and Dean are down to the spanner in the works who is the prime cause of our corporate five pillars or model philosophies that haven't had any affect on the quality of the team. Action is needed and to hell with the corporate bull**** because a lot of people have had as much as this anyone can possibly take.

not sure any of those would come her, but I’m afraid I tend to agree, time to call an end to an experiment that was doomed from the start, nice man and all that , but not good enough I’m afraid, we need someone with experience and know how, this is a tough and demanding league, once again DH was tactically naive.

It's not that they would not come here, they would if a) the price was right and b) if they received decent financial backing. The point is we would never employ a manager who had his own opinion, we employ poodles, who do and say what they are told.

Fergie was right nobody at the club should earn more than the manager and the manager should be left to run the playing side especially signings.

The rugby club does not have anybody like Ashton with his interference and ego, he wouldn't last 5 minutes, if you want success you employ a proper coach not a cheap option and we have had far too many cheap options, whoever's decision it was not to bring in a left back should be sacked immediately, you cannot run a professional football club under those circumstances, it's becoming a pathetic joke.

And it could and should have been worse, Lansbury could and should have been sent off, already booked he went incredibly high on Wilson and raked him down the top of his leg.

Apart from the free kick he did nothing for me, having said that I believe the decision to play him and Williams neither of whom are match fit together in centre midfield shows how far out of his depth Holden is, as I said I cannot see a plan at all I see is making it up on the hoof and the usual BCFC making do with players being played out of position, with no discernible game plan, amateur hour comes to mind.

I paid £10 but switched off at 75 minutes.
I really can’t see how we have made any progress since sacking LJ.

So should have Lansbury, that was a cowardly over the top rake on Wilson especially having already been booked.

Make an attractive offer to Howe to see out the rest of the season and let him do an in-depth review of the footballing operation. Surely it's time to look back and admit the failings that have left us mired in confusion and questions and wandering around like a herd of lost sheep going nowhere. This option would cost a pretty penny but if Lansdown truly cares about Bristol City (and we all know he does) then this is the time put his money to a much better purpose than the load of below par players that have been brought in over the last 5 or so years who end up under the direction of coaches who are not up to the job. Speculation on the right people should be priority #1 and needs to be done by Lansdown now and he could get it started by firing Ashton

Brentford had a game plan, we didn't.
Cardiff had a different game plan, we didn't.
    We fed Cardiff, unbelievable.

Mawson, I could pick on any, but he needs to get a grip. He's an up market Bailey Wright, a disaster waiting to happen.

As for our HC and coaching staff - they don't !
