In all honesty I think he peaked with his first 2 films and the rest were nowhere near as good. All subjective though so fck it.
Jackie Brown was his second film I think...was good...not right up there for me Hateful 8 could easily be my number 1 tbh...really enjoyed the whole plot, the setting...the tension in that nice cozy barn throughout...very good with some top acting.
Think that was the 3rd. Reservoir Dogs the first. I remember coming out of that film thinking I've never seen anything like it. Completely new at the time. Then when Pulp Fiction came out I went in kind of knowing what to expect so never had the same impact. Still a great movie though.
Maybe you’re just a bit of a knob Trebs? I mean, no way in the world did you or anyone else know what to expect when they watched Pulp fiction for the first time and there is no one ever to have watched it for first time and thought ‘that was predictable’
Oh yeh that's a given lol. Maybe you're just sailing the bandwagon Spurly. No way predictable but the way the films/stories were cut (not a typical time line), the day to day trivial dialogue interlaced through scenes of brutal violence and classic backing soundtracks. He did that all first in Reservoir Dogs. Then repeated it with another decent plot in Pulp Fiction. Both great films, I was just infuenced more the first time.
bandwagon? I didn’t know there was one for this aswell cant think of anything more bandwagony than having Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs in your top 2 tbh. influenced? How? What did you call yourself? Mr Rainbow? Did you n your mates shoot each other up at the end too?
