I'm hoping they imposed @Libby 's suggested penalty of leaving him at Stafford service station on the M6, with no phone and no wallet. Hopefully he'll have arrived home sometime on Wednesday afternoon, and all is now forgiven.
Damn you CGT Alright then ... Has there ever been a time in football history when a club and it’s fans have responded so positively to a X-0 defeat? (Where X > 4)
I was once on the losing side in a rugby game that finished 94-0. The newpaper report consisted of a quote from our captain: 'The match was not as close as the score suggests'
Oddly enough, I was in a rugby match we lost 98-0. My only memory of the game is tackling a HUGE guy very hard indeed about ten yards out and he just kept going with my arms around his legs to score a try. It later turned out that the ref stopped the game after 70 minutes because he couldn't bear the idea of our losing by a hundred points. We were mightily hacked off because we were on the cusp of a comeback Vin
Meanwhile, back on the game not played with odd shaped balls, we're favourites for tomorrow. I'm with whatever idiot made this thread. We'll f'ing smash 'em. Vin
Sounds like @Le Tissier's Laces ’ second hand car show room Alfa Romeu Mina metro Austin Tella Ford Salisu and a Vestergaard Transit
Obviously doesnt mean they will all be fit, but if either Romeu or Vestergaard return that is a huge boost. Can't wait for tomorrow. Early start for the cricket then Saints win at 3pm!
So KWP unlikely to make it for this one then. Of our injured players getting close to a return, I think we are most likely to see Oriol play tomorrow based on what Ralph said. But good news if the others are back in training too.
