Very bored without super sunday on the box so I thought i'd ask everyone a question, what is your favorite player from a European team playing now. For me it's Alexis Sanchez however Edison Cavani comes close. Cavani recently got a great hat-trick against Milan in a 3-1 win, top quality! Who's yours?

Alexis Sanchez shows off a little too much. Cardozo is a great shout. Eden Hazard looks like he'll be really special.

Hristo Stoichkov
Foreign Matt Le Tiss.
Outstanding footballer, but retired a while back of course.

Sorry, it's boring, but I can't look past Lionel Messi, pure football genius. My favourite European footballer of the past 20 years (but retired) is Rui Costa.

For me it would have to be Miloš Krasić. Pavel Nedved is my favourite player of all time and Krasic is very similar to him.

Ah, was vaguely wondering when someone might pick it up. Just a bit of light hearted humour on my part. However, I suppose I'm also illustrating my complete lack of real interest in any football outside of Saints. I'm quite myopic, in that respect. I can become interested in say Huddersfield, for their unbeaten run, but I can't maintain it. Consequently, obscure foreign footballers, playing for obscure foreign teams, I have no connection with, aren't going to get me excited.

Now La Lollo, on the other hand... ;)
