Coventry v Watford. Watford's inexperienced yet smiley and newishist coach takes his struggling for form Hornets to Brimingham to face Coventry. Here is why they are playing their home games in Brum. Watford have one point from six after a stalemate at The Den was followed by a home loss to QPR. Not exactly promotion form, though Watford sit in 5th. On the other hand, Coventry have the same point total from their last two games. Muñoz has said the right things after Watford´s last two games, but does that really matter? Things are not right on the pitch. He recently commented that there would be a change of formation and / or players this weekend. I wonder what he has up his sleeve? Either way, something needs to give if we are not to lose further ground on the automatic sports and just become also-rans for the play offs. I have a feeling that this game could be called off having seen the weather forecast for England. Injury news is that maybe Femina & Masina could be in for a return. Others STILL remain out. Well we better win otherwise not quite sure what the reaction will and if some had their way Munoz would be sacked already ! Hopefully Kiko and Masina will be fit and Sema plays. Mind you if we keep looking toothless up front it won’t matter who is the manager or where people play. We have to start creating more .
Thanks for the thread Mex. There were quite a few comments on here about how much better to watch the games had become with the change in coach. We need some end product to go with the style change, and I still don't think Gray is the answer to providing it.
Yes I thought we had done ok till Monday when we lost key players and looked well of shape. Certainly better than some think but obviously the QPR game was a setback. Important to bounce back with a solid performance and actually look a threat. Means play Sema and give PZ a go - if he isn’t great them least you can say we tried ! Hopefully Kiko in particularly will be back as another attacking option.
Sarr has to keep running into the penalty area with a bit of pace so we can at least get one goal to start with
Gray really needs to produce... we cant offload him as he gets paid too much....... clealry he has done it before........ the clock is ticking really... both for him and our promotion challenge
Watford's starting line-up: is this team formation supposed to be Muñoz's "new system"? It looks suspiciously like 4-4-2. It was obvious that Gray would be starting against Coventry after the club put out the PR interview with him during the week.
Back to finding a stream today as there is no Hive available in France. Watched Swansea and Norwich last night in glorious HD with English commentary, so hope to do the same again.
Greetings at lunchtime everyone. As OFH said it's find the stream time and all links appreciated as some work better for different viewers. Enjoy the game all
