I don't think it's the team selection, it's the tactics. We're sitting way too deep and just trying to break, despite nobody being within about 30 yards of Vinicius. It's the mindset, rather than who's out there. He could risk taking off Hojbjerg or Sissoko for Bale or Moura and play them as a second striker, but it's a massive risk. Can't see it happening and we'd definitely be getting overrun a lot if he did it.
Just read,Harry Kane wants to end his career "playing" in the NFL as a place kicker. They've got a lady doing that somewhere!!!!!
That’s who I’d go for too. It’s a risky appointment but then so was Poch at the time and whilst he failed to deliver silverware he at least made us watchable for the most part.
Well that was fun, they really aren't much better without the gift wrapped penalty they probably don't score, but we are bereft of any of the tools required to get back into this. No plan, no confidence and no energy.
We need Stevie off and brings winks on to try and get some control. Bring Bale on for Vini. This is terrible.
I said at the time that the ubermensch was the safest option Levy could have taken after sacking Poch, as there would be a chunk of the support who'd buy into the winning mentality and/or assumption that trOfeEz would follow based on who he was, and it has to be said the Twitter/Reddit crowd were calling for the ubermensch as Poch;s tenure was spiralling into oblivion Now there's two problems with this First of all, our track record with the safe options is really poor: when we take a risk we get results, as Jol, Poch and Redknapp demonstrated (although AVB is the exception to the rule, because there's always one isn't there?) but when we play safe we end up with Ramos, Santini, and to be honest we can probably chuck Hoddle onto that list The second issue is that Levy wasn't thinking of the club, he was thinking of currying favour with the Lunatic Fringe, and the problem with currying favour with them is that the two obvious examples of doing that during ENIC's time at the club were overruling Frank Arnesen's recommendation of Jol to bring in Santini (with Jol as his assistant) and sacking Graham to bring in Hoddle, the latter of which seemed to be a move to get the fans onside but the fact that ENIC weren't Alan Sugar was more than enough to get fans onside given what a thoroughly miserable experience the latter part of the Sugar years were And this is the issue: when we are bold with our managerial choices we move forwards, when we take the safe option we stand still at best, or go backwards at worst
Why are you talking about getting rid of Jose? We are still in with chances of winning a cup. Let's not be hasty.
STFU you ... you ... turncoat mofo. You love Jose...you don't get to look at other managers. If you choose to marry a moose you don't deserve to drool over a nubile hottie
He’d probably be the best manager outside of those already at top clubs, would he leave Leipzig for us right now though? Not too sure. Would be great if he did.
