Didn’t someone say it had been cancelled? If there is no willing buyer now then there is no need for the arb.

So it’s as likely as not likely that a takeover is happening. Equal?

Is that technically right. Surely it has to be the owner of the entity to make the legal claim. In fact thinking about it logically it can only be the owner?

Newcastle United itself cannot sue for loss of potential income or anything of the sort because there is no evidence to suggest the club itself has lost out!

The only entity that has lost out from the selling side is the owner. That being the entity that owns the shares in nufc.

If arbitration is ongoing and it seems do despite previous comments, it suggests a willing buyer exists.

Mike Ashley cannot use PL arbitration to sue the PL. Financial loss could only be recovered in a true court of law. Arbitration is to resolve disputes involving member clubs and the PL.

Financial loss due loss of value of shares or proceeds from a sale by a legal owner are for a court of law.

Trust me, NUFC are trying to force the takeover through. That means the buyer has changed their mind and is back.

For that to happen suggests a very very strong case.

Well, I did hear from your family that you were a real handful especially when there's no complan available.

Arbitration often leads to financial settlements though, for all you know he could have already settled his claim (whatever it was) by mutual and confidential agreement, either before, during or after an arbitration hearing.

An interview with George caulken was done yesterday and he said fans should remain cautious until cans, but it's quite obvious that PIF are still at the table.

Nobody seems to be sure which way it will go, but it's definitely not off.

Think people are ignoring or forgetting the most telling reports in the sea of bread and all the Middle Eastern ****e

Remember this was Jason burt who was the first to report papers going to the premier league.. He knows things and so does caulken and Kennedy.

Well he was the guy who broke the Saudi story and caulken is very honest and reliable... He's saying to be cautious about it, but the case would certainly seem to be to win the right for change of ownership. It sounds like there's alot of plates spinning and one could drop anytime.

I like Caulkin, he knows Staveley and even he knows it's unlikely to happen soon.
