I regularly take C and D vitamins anyway. The D vitamins are needed here because of the lack of winter sun.

Try dissolving turmeric powder in warm water and drinking it daily. This a great natural boost to your immune system.

Strange question but are you of Asian descent ? I only ask as i deal with many Asian patients at work, and they all seem to suggest Tumeric as being a cure for absolutely anything. I’ve even had families of patients in cardiac arrest trying to rub it on the feet while doing CPR.....and I’m really not joking.

I was under the impression that there's now evidence emerging that the 12 week gap is ok. Not sure whether that's all vaccines, but I thought I heard it definitely was for the Oxford one. Plus there's emerging evidence I believe that the Oxford vaccine has better efficacy over that 12 week period than previously thought.
I also listened to some expert today who thought there was a good chance that mixed vaccines could be even more effective, but did warn that the trials were ongoing and that they would tell us.
Sorry, can't remember who that was. A professor of something or other.

Seems to me that there is a lot of good news around at the moment concerning vaccines etc.
Lots of reasons to be positive imo.

Yeah, there are reasons to believe that the gap between jabs works for the AZ vaccine and others of its type, based on previous experience with similar technology. There is not for the RNA vaccines because they are brand new technology.

I know I get agitated about this stuff and it comes across as negative, but believe me the progress on vaccines and other treatments has been truly astounding in a very short timescale and I am very positive about it overall, not least because it shows the industry I work in in a half decent light, which doesn’t happen often. The stuff that pisses me off is exactly this ‘a good chance’ ‘it will probably work’ stuff which I know is designed to reassure people, but is contrary to accepted good practice for stuff you inject into people - do it the way the evidence tells you is effective. If you don’t have the evidence, design a trial or a study to get it, make sure that study is peer reviewed by genuine experts and published. Otherwise be honest - we are taking a bet but the circumstances justify it.

    So perfect Stan...a scientific reply.
It what makes us sound negative...when the feeling around is all so positive.
We are doing what Boris says he is doing, but not.
    Following the science.

The government is gambling and at moment it is coming off ( it didn't at the start).
look at this moment I don't care about politics, I want me and mine to be healthy, so I am really pleased they are gambling and winning.
I just would be too scientific to gamble...and the country would be worse off.

So we'll done Boris, you deserve some luck

I get where you're coming from, but I think it's ok to be positive about a lot of this stuff.
We weren't sure whether that 12 week gap was a good idea, but now evidence is starting to signal that it will be more than ok.
Good news, and **** knows we need some!

    Quite the gamble though
Can we design a jab that carries all the other jjabs everyone should have as well
Might as well go for broke and cure the world of everything
